Shortest month of the year?

Maybe! There’s a little bit of calm in the live performances around Sydney, the Blue Mountains and more. However, the two live gigs I’ll be at will be amazing.

Kicking off the month with some air time, live on the radio with Linda Mizzi and band. Details will follow soon, and as always check out Facebook for up-to-date details closer to the date. What to tune into will be posted here at a later date.

Sunday 11th February will be rocking a huge show with Lecia Louise Mcphail-Bell down at the always rocking Beaches Hotel, Thirroul. This show will be huge, with two amazing bands. I’ll be helping Lecia along with local Sydney Drummer, Simon Cook, providing Lecia with a solid, rocking rhythm section. Lecia is a shredding guitarist and belter of vocals from QLD. I’m looking forward to rocking out.

Spur of the moment gig at Blackheath Golf Club on 28th of Feb from 6:30pm onwards with The Mizfits.

Next up? That’s it for Feb.

So what other news is new?

Planning has commenced for a potential new studio I will be building from the ground up. The completion is still at least 12-24 months away. However, my repair work and recording work is outgrowing my current means.

Luthier work and instrument repairs will continue, as will amp repairs. These will all be recorded and uploaded to Youtube.

Speaking of Youtube. A little bit of sad news is that Youtube has told me that my subscription amount is too small (currently at 100 at the time of writing this) to bother with monetising my account. So, while they will continue to display advertising on my videos, I will receive no benefit from it. Not that I was. I mean, I think I made $9.35 so far. But now Youtube will keep all that money and continue to make revenue from my videos. So I am looking at alternatives, unless someone has some massively great idea to gain another 901 subscribers within the next 3 weeks.

Watch out for more!
