It was a busy month last month, and while this one is a little less busy, there’s more touring and more behind the scenes gig preparation, with a huge announcement coming next month. In the meantime however it appears to be the month for CK & the 45s. We boot July in the guts with our mates The Sweet Jelly Rolls taking a break from The Different Drummer. We’ll be there every Wednesday night from the 4th of July, then 7th July, 11th and finally the 18th of July before the Jelly Rolls return to their usual shindig.
In between all the Drummer shenanigans, we’ll also be making our usual monthly residency at the The Old City Bank – Katoomba. But just to offer you even more CK & the 45s craziness, we’ve just announced, right here – Right Now!!! We’ll be opening for Joe Camilleri & the Black Sorrows at the Gearin Hotel – Katoomba on the 6th of July!!!
There’s nothing like swinging into a swinging venue with singing music. Come up the hill and join the biggest and baddest Country Swing Good Time band.
Finally, we also get to travel a bit, taking our Good Time tunes to Tamworth’s Hats Off Festival – Tamworth Hotel After the great success of our Hank Williams Tribute show – Settin’ the Woods On Fire, last month – We’ve teamed up with the amazing Sweet Jelly Rolls, also joined by the incredible and gorgeous Smith and Jones, in addition to very talented Ivin Daley and civilians.
The Snakemen make their much loved appearance at the Parramatta Farmers Market on Friday 6th of July from 11AM until 2PM. We love playing outdoors in the sunshine while local and distant artisans cook, bake and make their delicious treats.
