May finds us busier than ever. It is one of the busiest months I have this year. So, what’s in store?
Sunday 12th of May I will be back at the Sydney Opera House, sharing the stage with some of Australia’s top musicians, such as Paul McDonald, conducted by George Ellis and his hand picked orchestra. We will be performing hits from the Hooked On Classics series of tunes as well as some popular additions from Star Wars, Pink Panther and some great tracks from Henry Mancini. This is an exciting show as it is the first time to ever be performed in Australia. I’m especially proud to be a part of musical history. You can grab a ticket here.
Friday 17th May I will be at Kiama Bowling Club with the Arc Riders playing the Ginhouse hits from Australia’s big Blues Scene. Show starts at 7PM
Wow! 2 whole gigs! So, why so busy?
Well, the Sydney Opera House shows have a huge amount of preparation that has already begun. Rehearsals are under way and the songs are coming together really well. There will be a second performance of this show in Melbourne later in the year, so there’s extra preparations to maintain the show until the following month for Melbourne.
It’s been over a year since I performed with the Arc Riders, so rehearsals are under way with that too. There’s tonnes of work to do before the show. So things will be quiet until next month.
