All good things come to an end. Some endings are pretty cut throat. Some endings are like the closing down sales at Joyce Mayne…. They take 30 years, but they finally disappear.
I am sad to say, after a 39 year career in music, this webpage along with my career in this industry is ready to expire. Sure, I’ll still play some music, and you’ll see me around every now and then. I am not giving up on performing as such. I am giving up on making music an income earner.
This is not a career. This has been a slow and tragic realisation and Covid was the straw that broke the camels back. I have some close, trusted friends I’ll continue to perform for. However, the pin has been pulled and I will no longer be investing the hours, days and weeks of hard work any longer.
This will be my final post, and once this domain name is due for renewal, it will not be renewed.
